The importance of creating a healthy routine while WFH!

When you are working from home and can afford staying in bed instead of commuting many of us won't be able to withstand the temptation and will hit the snooze button.
If the stress this lockdown is causing it is understandable we may feel overwhelmed and even slightly depressed.
That is exactly the reason why I recommend finding your healthy routine which will cement some very beneficial habits that will have a huge impact on your life now and after this quarantine.
1. Don't sleep in, get up when you would normally have to, your circadian rhythm and your energy levels will be better.
2. Use the extra time to make breakfast, start with something fresh. Lemon water, chamomile tea, use that juicer you got for Xmas two years ago but never used.
3. Make time for a proper breakfast, eating a varied diet full of fresh produce is one of the best way to strengthen your immune system and to avoid boredom and unwanted snacking and cravings!
4. Get some fresh air and sunshine, open the window and take mini breaks that force you to get up and walk even just to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
5. Make yourself a standing desk and keep moving, any time you don't need to type or be seen on camera, move, put some music on and keep dancing, stretching, marching on the spot, whatever you come up with.
6. Schedule your lunch break and do some exercise while heating up your meal, do a set of squats, lunges or press ups.
7. Schedule a walk or a jog for right after work, with more daylight and no chance to get to your gym you will need to get your steps in. Any stress you had up to that point will be gone by the time you get home.
